Many elements make up the design of a sensory garden. As you walk through the garden, use this guide to bring some of those design elements to your attention. Use all of your senses - touch, smell, taste, sight and sound.
There are no right or wrong ways through this experience. Everyone uses their senses in differently. Try enjoying the space around you with enlightened senses!
Which plants look soft, rough, smooth or sharp? What colors do you see? Does the plant material navigate your eye through the garden or to a specific focal point? Can you follow your nose or ears to the next space?
