Title Image
Phenology is the study of the timing of life cycle events in plants and animals, which can be affected by variations in climate. Denver Botanic Gardens, along with Budburst, a project of Chicago Botanic Gardens, has created a Phenology Trail for collecting phenology data and learning about plants. These data can be submitted to national databases via Budburst or USA-NPN, where they are available to all and used by scientists to study how plant phenology is affected by climate change.

This tour travels Trail 2 of the Phenology Walk at York Street. For Trail 1 at York Street visit Trail 1.

Stay tuned for updated trails Chatfield Farms and Mount Goliath.
