TOUR DETAILS: Across from the Steppe Garden and in the shadow of the Science Pyramid, you will see our largest event space at Denver Botanic Gardens — the UMB Bank Amphitheater Tent. This expansive space is approximately 40’ by 180’ and is completely covered with a solid canvas tent top and clear cathedral siding. This space is framed with stunning raised beds inspired by the Colorado plains with lowland grasses, shrubs, native and wild plants. To the west, your guests can bask in the shade of our stunning cottonwood trees in a pre-function section that is perfect for a cocktail hour, silent auction or business networking. The tent top is domed with custom twinkle lights to create a warm evening glow for your guests. From the tent your guests can see our internationally inspired Steppe Garden, which features plants from steppe regions across the world, and the Ponderosa Border, which features native grasses, pines and wildflowers. This space is ideal for large groups as it can host up to 1,200 people under the tent and is perfect for weddings, company gatherings, fundraising galas, graduations and religious services.
