weberi Many cactus and agave are named for Frederic Albert Constantin Weber, 1830-1903, French surgeon and botanist, described many species of cactus and agave, the genus Weberocerueus is named for him.

Aechmea weberi was named for 19th Century botanist, Wilhelm Weber.
