Disocactus	- From the Greek diskos (disc), referring to the typically circular and flattened shape
nelsonii	Discocactus nelsonii- named for a Edward William Nelson, 1855-1934, American naturalist and ethnologist, part of the Death Valley Expedition, also explored Yosemite Valley. Several veterbrate species also named for him. Albuca nelsonii-named for William Nelson, 1852-1922, British nurseryman and plant collector, especially known for collecting in South Africa
