It might be hard to believe that this spectacular solarium struggled to find a home. In the late 1990s, Euro Disney S.C.A. commissioned the solarium and seven others, then canceled the order for unknown reasons. This solarium remained in its packing crate for nearly 20 years before it was generously donated to the Gardens in 2012.

The wrought-iron solarium is designed in a Victorian style, with tempered glass windows, elaborate scrollwork and a powder-coated finish. Five of the seven other solariums are identical to this one; this is the only one known to be on public display.
