Welcome Garden |
Denver Botanic Gardens Gardens Navigator |
The Welcome Garden is an all-season gateway for groups of visitors as well as a demonstration garden for home gardeners. Visitors enter this garden for concerts, Blossoms of Light, school tours and more, continuing north past the Visitor Center toward Crossroads Garden or south through the Welcome Garden’s southern bed, The Secret Passage, to the Romantic Garden.
The Secret Passage is intimate and enclosed, while the remainder of the Welcome Garden, designed by Mundus Bishop Landscape Architects, is expansive, featuring two raised annuals beds, a sloped perennial bed and a stone-lined waterway with waterfalls.
