Marnie's Pavilion |

Marnie's Pavilion is the best location to see the Gardens' diverse orchid collection. Marnie's Pavilion is named after Margaret "Marnie" Honnen. The pavilion originally opened in 1981 and housed the orchid greenhouse underneath of the display area which was at the same level as the Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory. A cloud forest exhibit was built in 2003 in this space. The building was then renovated in 2010 as part of the greenhouse construction project, with only the original roof remaining, while the remainder of the building and interior garden changed into the display seen today. Rock walls and waterfalls enhance the naturalistic setting for numerous plant species including ferns, begonias and an ever-changing orchid display that can be viewed from multiple angles.
