The Conservation Garden was created in 2012 to demonstrate the partnership between horticulture and research at the Gardens. In the past, this garden focused solely on endangered plants; in this new display Colorado natives are showcased, including ones that are imperiled as well as unique endemics. The east end of the garden shows revegetation, highlighting how native plants can be used to revegetate a hillside. Additionally plants of conservation concern, such as Physaria bellii are shown prominently.
