Annuals Garden and PavilionDenver Botanic Gardens
The Annuals Garden and Pavilion features premier garden annuals from the All-America Selections (AAS) program. The AAS program promotes new garden seed varieties with superior garden performance judged in impartial trials in North America. The seeds have been tested to be well-adapted to the environment, promoting healthy plants. Founded in 1933, over 700 plants have been introduced through this program. The garden presents the latest and past year's introductions, which includes annual bedding plants and various vegetables.
This garden, which includes a covered event space, was designed by Didier Design Studio and was completed in 2016. While the focus in on summer, plants are added for the various seasons. You may see pansies in the winter months followed by tulips in springtime.
