Chatfield Farms Kim Sterne Survival Garden |
Denver Botanic Gardens Gardens Navigator |
Created in the memory of Kim Sterne, an herbalist from the Boulder area, this garden contains native and naturalized plants that have been used as foods, medicines or textiles. Found throughout the Front Range--from the mountains, foothills and prairie to the high desert in the Southwest--the flowering perennials, shrubs and cacti in this garden are well adapted to local habitats.
