This small heirloom garden surrounding the Polly Steele Nature Center includes an assortment of plants cultivated before 1940. As a non-irrigated garden, it includes many deciduous shrubs and perennials that have survived without additional water. Through careful placement, these gardens have been transformed into cottage style, native gardens.
