More than 2,000 lavender plants are carefully laid out in rows growing between colorful, xeric, perennial borders. This lavender crop is comprised of 25 different varieties tested for cold hardiness and performance; varieties change from year to year. The garden is showcased each July during an annual Lavender Festival.
